of <h1>Himalaya Sameekha Parishad Approved for Tax-Exempt Fundraising Under Section 35(1)(iii) for Social Science Research</h1> The Himalaya Sameekha Parishad in Calcutta has been approved by the Indian Council of Social Science Research under section 35(1)(iii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval allows the institution to collect funds with tax exemptions, provided the funds are used exclusively for social science research. The Parishad must maintain separate accounts for these funds and submit an annual report and audited financial statement to the Council. This approval is valid from April 29, 1981, to April 28, 1984.
