of <h1>Jnana Probodhini Approved for Tax Exemption to Promote Social Science Research Under Section 35(1)(iii) of Income-tax Act</h1> Jnana Probodhini, Pune, has been approved by the Indian Council of Social Science Research under section 35(1)(iii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, as per Notification No. S.O.2437 dated 12-6-1981. This approval is valid from 1-1-1981 to 31-12-1983. The institution is required to use the funds collected under this exemption exclusively for promoting research in social sciences. It must maintain separate accounts for these funds and submit an annual report and audited statements to the Council detailing the funds collected and their utilization.
