of <h1>Karnataka Historical Research Society Approved for Tax Exemption Under Section 35(1)(iii) for Promoting Social Sciences Research</h1> The Karnataka Historical Research Society, Dharwad, has been approved by the Indian Council of Social Science Research under section 35(1)(iii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is effective from April 1, 1980, to March 31, 1983. The Society is required to use the funds collected under this exemption solely for promoting research in social sciences, maintain separate accounts for these funds, and submit annual reports to the ICSSR, New Delhi, detailing the funds collected and their utilization.
