of <h1>Bhaskaracharya Pratisthan Approved for Scientific Research Under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> Bhaskaracharya Pratisthan in Pune has been approved by the Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for scientific research in natural or applied sciences, excluding agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and medicines. The institution must maintain separate accounts for research funds and submit annual returns of its research activities and financial statements to the prescribed authority and the Commissioner of Income-tax by April 30 each year. This approval is valid from September 24, 1980, to September 23, 1983.
