of <h1>Approval for Indian Institute of Plant Engineers under Section 35(1)(ii) withdrawn effective January 1, 1980.</h1> The approval granted to the Indian Institute of Plant Engineers, Madras, under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, by notification No. 1427 dated August 6, 1976, has been withdrawn effective January 1, 1980. This decision follows the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi. The withdrawal is officially documented in Notification No. S.O.1831, dated April 24, 1980.
