of <h1>Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan approved for medical research under Income-tax Act section 35(1)(ii) until 1982.</h1> The Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences in Calcutta has been approved as a scientific research association in the field of medical research under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval, granted by the Indian Council of Medical Research, is effective from November 17, 1979, to November 16, 1982. The institution must maintain separate accounts for research funds, submit annual research activity returns by May 31 each year, and provide an audited statement of accounts to both the Council and the Income-tax Commissioner.
