of <h1>Research on Sunflower Growth Approved Under Section 35(2A) of Income-tax Act, Sponsored by Hindustan Lever Ltd.</h1> A scientific research program focusing on the biophysical studies of the growth and yield of sunflower has been approved under section 35(2A) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The project is sponsored by Hindustan Lever Ltd. and will be conducted at the Department of Biosciences, Saurashtra University, Rajkot. The research is scheduled to last three years, starting from January 1, 1980, with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 1,49,020. Saurashtra University is also recognized under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, as per a prior notification from the Ministry of Finance.
