of <h1>Cancer Hospital & Research Institute Approved for Medical Research under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act 1961</h1> The Cancer Hospital & Research Institute of the Jan Vikas Nyas Public Trust in Gwalior has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research as a 'scientific research association' for medical research under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is effective from April 20, 1979, to April 19, 1981. The institution must maintain separate accounts for funds received for scientific research and submit annual returns of its research activities to the Council by May 31 each year.
