of <h1>Kanora Seva Kendra Approved for Scientific Research by ICMR Under Section 35(1)(ii) Income-tax Act 1961</h1> Kanora Seva Kendra, Calcutta, has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research as a 'scientific research association' under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for medical research. This approval is effective from January 27, 1979, to January 26, 1981. The institution must maintain separate accounts for funds received for scientific research and submit annual returns of its research activities to the Council by May 31 each year.
