of <h1>National Kidney Foundation (India) Approved for Scientific Research Under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act 1961</h1> The National Kidney Foundation (India), Bombay, has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research as a 'scientific research association' under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval is for medical research purposes and is valid from December 4, 1979, to December 3, 1980. The foundation must maintain a separate account for funds received for scientific research and submit annual returns of its research activities to the Council by May 31 each year.
