of <h1>Endocrine Society of India Approved for Scientific Research Under Income-tax Act Section 35(1)(ii) Until 1981</h1> The Endocrine Society of India, Chandigarh, has been approved by the Secretary of the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for scientific research in natural or applied sciences, excluding agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and medicines. The Society must maintain a separate account for funds received for research and submit an annual return of its activities by April 30 each year. This approval is valid from March 17, 1978, to March 16, 1981.
