of <h1>Government Forms Approval Committee for SEZ in Electronic Hardware & Software Sector Under Rule 5A</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) focused on electronic hardware and software, including IT and IT-enabled services, at Bagur Village, Anugondanahalli Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, Bangalore Rural District, Karnataka. This SEZ is to be developed by a private company. The committee comprises various ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Commissioners of Customs and Income Tax, the Ministry of Finance, and two officers nominated by the Government of Karnataka. A representative from the developing company is a special invitee.
