of <h1>Kaul Science Foundation Approved for Scientific Research under Section 35(1)(ii) of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> The Kaul Science Foundation, Lucknow, has been approved by the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, as a scientific research association under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval, effective from October 1, 1977, to September 30, 1980, is for research in natural or applied sciences, excluding agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and medicine. The foundation must maintain separate accounts for funds received for scientific research and submit an annual return of its research activities to the prescribed authority by April 30 each year.
