of <h1>Research Program Approved for Tax Benefits Under Section 35(2A) of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> A scientific research program titled 'Futures Analysis by large-scale computer simulation' has been approved under section 35(2A) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for tax purposes. The program, conducted by the Systems Research Institute in Pune, is scheduled to commence on August 15, 1977, and conclude in August 1980, with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 8 lakhs. The institute has been previously approved under section 35(1)(ii) by the Ministry of Finance, as per a notification dated August 22, 1975. This approval is issued by the Secretary of the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi.
