of <h1>Research Program on Sugarcane Approved Under Income-tax Act Section 35(2A); Sponsored by University and Private Company</h1> A scientific research program focused on a sugarcane sub-station has been approved under section 35(2A) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. The program is sponsored by Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University and a private company, located in Vuyyuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. It will run on a permanent basis with an estimated annual expenditure of Rs. 5.08 lakhs. The private company will donate Rs. 2 lakhs for non-recurring expenses in the first year. Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University is already approved under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act.
