of <h1>Savitridevi Saboo Charitable Society gains ICMR approval under Section 35(1)(ii) for tax benefits on research donations.</h1> The Savitridevi Saboo Charitable Institutions Society in Calicut has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval allows the Society to receive tax benefits for donations used exclusively for research purposes. The Society is required to submit annual reports on its research activities and financial details concerning donations to the Council. This approval is valid for two years from the date of the notification, which is dated 7th July 1977.
