of <h1>Sri Pejavara Math Udupi recognized under section 10(23C) of Income-tax Act for tax purposes from 1970-71.</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. S.O.3398, dated July 13, 1976, under clause (v) of sub-section (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This notification officially recognizes Sri Pejavara Math, Jagadguru Madhwacharya Samsthana, Udupi, for the purposes outlined in the specified section of the Act. This recognition is applicable starting from the assessment year 1970-71.
