Notification under section 10(23C)(v) recognizing Ramakrishna Mission (Howrah) for tax-exempt status from assessment year 1973-74. The Central Government, exercising powers under clause (v) of sub-section (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, issued Notification No. S.O.2143 dated 1-4-1976 to notify Ramakrishna Mission (Howrah District) for the purposes of that provision with effect from assessment year 1973-74.
