of <h1>Sri Sankaracharya Swamigal Mutt Samsthanam Kumbakonam recognized under section 10(23C) of Income-tax Act from 1972-73 assessment year.</h1> The Central Government, under the powers granted by clause (v) of sub-section (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has officially notified Sri Sankaracharya Swamigal Mutt Samsthanam, Kumbakonam. This notification, numbered S.O.1921 and dated April 1, 1976, applies to the assessment year 1972-73 onwards. The notification recognizes the institution for the specified purposes under the mentioned section of the Income-tax Act.
