of <h1>Sri Eachanari Vinayagar Temple Recognized as Public Worship Place Under Section 80G of Income-tax Act, 1961</h1> The Central Government, exercising powers under sub-section (2)(b) of section 80G of the Income-tax Act, 1961, has officially recognized Sri Eachanari Vinayagar Temple in Coimbatore District as a place of public worship. This notification, dated January 22, 1975, acknowledges the temple's renown throughout the State of Tamil Nadu for the purposes of section 80G. The notification was issued by M. K. Pandey, Under Secretary to the Government of India.
