of <h1>Society of Nuclear Medicine, India, gains tax exemption under Income-tax Act Section 35, retroactive from April 1974.</h1> The Society of Nuclear Medicine, India, has been approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research as an institution eligible for tax exemption under clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval, detailed in Notification No. S.O.2913 and dated 27th September 1974, applies retroactively from 1st April 1974, allowing the institution to benefit from specified tax exemptions.
