of <h1>Exemption for Protein Foods and Nutrition Development Association u/s 35(1)(ii) withdrawn effective March 17, 1980.</h1> The Protein Foods and Nutrition Development Association of India, Bombay, was granted exemption under section 35(1)(ii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, as approved by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. This exemption was effective from April 1, 1973, as per Notification No. S.O.9 dated November 8, 1973. However, this exemption was withdrawn effective March 17, 1980, as stated in Notification No. S.O.1830 dated April 23, 1980.
