of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for IT/ITeS SEZ at Salt Lake Electronic City Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, has established an Approval Committee for the IT/ITeS Special Economic Zone at Salt Lake Electronic City, Kolkata, developed by M/s Wipro Limited. The committee includes the Development Commissioner as Chairperson and members from various government departments such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and Finance. Additionally, two officers from the Government of West Bengal and a representative from M/s Oval Developers Pvt. Ltd. will serve as a special invitee. This committee is tasked with overseeing the operations within the specified SEZ.
