of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for Hi-Tech Engineering SEZ; Includes Key Officials from Commerce, Trade, Customs, and More</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the hi-tech engineering sector Special Economic Zone located in Karumatampatti and Kittampalayam villages, Palladam Taluk, Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu. This committee, developed by a private infrastructure company, includes members such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and representatives from Customs, Income Tax, and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau. The committee also includes a special invitee from the developer company. In the Development Commissioner's absence, a Joint Commissioner will represent him.
