<h1>Approval Committee Formed for Electronics & IT SEZ in Tamil Nadu under Special Economic Zones Act 2005</h1> The Central Government has constituted an Approval Committee for the electronics hardware and IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone located in Arasur Village, Palladam Taluk, Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu. This committee is established under the Special Economic Zones Act 2005 and includes a Chairperson and several ex-officio members from various government departments, including the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and representatives from Customs, Income Tax, and the Tamil Nadu government. A representative from the developer, M/s True Developers Pvt. Ltd., is a special invitee.
