<h1>Approval Committee Formed for IT and Electronics SEZ in Tamil Nadu Under SEZ Act 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) focused on information technology and electronics hardware at Santhavelore-B, Chittur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. The committee is formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and includes members such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs and Central Excise, Income Tax, and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau. A representative from the developer, M/s Foxconn India Developer Private Limited, is a special invitee.
