<h1>Government Forms Approval Committee for Electronics and IT Special Economic Zone under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the electronics hardware and information technology/information technology enabled services Special Economic Zone located at Podavur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu. This committee, constituted under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, includes a Chairperson and several ex-officio members from various government departments, including the Development Commissioner, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Finance, and Tamil Nadu's industrial and export promotion bodies. A representative from the developer, M/s Velankani Technology Parks Pvt. Ltd., is included as a special invitee.
