<h1>Central Government Establishes Approval Committee for IT SEZ at SIPCOT IT Park under Section 13 of SEZ Act 2005.</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone at SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri, and Kazhipattur villages in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This committee is formed under the authority of Section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee comprises various ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Ministry of Finance, Tamil Nadu Industrial Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau, and a representative from the developer, Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd.
