<h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for IT/IT-enabled Services SEZ at Rajarhat under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. This committee is chaired by the Development Commissioner of the SEZ and includes members from various government departments such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Central Excise, Income Tax, and the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, two officers from the Government of West Bengal and a representative from M/s Unitech Hi-tech Structures Ltd., the developer, are included as a special invitee.
