<h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for IT SEZ as per Special Economic Zones Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone located at Plot No. III F/1, Action Area-III, New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal, developed by a private developer. The committee comprises the Development Commissioner as Chairperson and includes members from various government departments such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and Finance. Additionally, two officers from the West Bengal Government and a representative from the developer will participate as a special invitee. This formation is in accordance with the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005.
