<h1>Approval Committee Formed for IT/ITeS Special Economic Zone Under SEZ Act 2005, Includes Key Government Representatives</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone at Plot No. 28, MIDC, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Phase-II, Pune, Maharashtra. This committee is formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and includes various ex-officio members such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and others. The developer, M/s DLF Akruti Infopark (Pune) Limited, is represented as a special invitee. The notification was issued by the Joint Secretary, Anil G. Mukim.
