<h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for IT SEZ under Special Economic Zones Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone located at Plot No. 3, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Phase II, Pune, Maharashtra. This committee, constituted under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, includes the Development Commissioner as Chairperson, and various members from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Finance Ministry, and Maharashtra's state government. A representative from the developer, M/s Dynasty Developers Pvt. Ltd., is a special invitee. The notification was issued on July 22, 2008.
