of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for Multi-Product SEZ at Dronagiri under Section 13 of SEZ Act 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Dronagiri, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, pursuant to section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. This committee is chaired by the Development Commissioner of the SEZ and includes members from various government departments, such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Central Excise, Income Tax, and the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, representatives from the Government of Maharashtra and the developer, Navi Mumbai SEZ Pvt. Ltd., are involved. In the Development Commissioner's absence, a Joint Development Commissioner will substitute.
