of <h1>Central Government Forms Approval Committee for Stainless Steel SEZ under Special Economic Zones Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the stainless steel and ancillary/downstream industry Special Economic Zone at Kalinganagar, Orissa, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The committee is chaired by the Development Commissioner of the Special Economic Zone and includes members from various government departments such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, two officers from the Government of Orissa and a representative from the developer, M/s Jindal Stainless Limited, serve as members and a special invitee, respectively.
