of <h1>Approval Committee Formed Under Section 13 of SEZ Act for IT Services Zone in Tamil Nadu</h1> The Central Government, under section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone at Kurichi village, Eachanari, Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu. This SEZ is developed by a private company. The committee comprises a Development Commissioner as Chairperson and several ex-officio members, including officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise, Commissioner of Income Tax, and representatives from the Ministry of Finance and the Government of Tamil Nadu. A representative from the developing company is a special invitee.
