Constitutes an Approval Committee for the pharmaceutical Special Economic Zone at Ahmedabad under the SEZ Act, chaired ex officio by the Development Commissioner and comprising ex officio members: a Department of Commerce director or nominee, the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade (Rajkot), Commissioners of Customs/Central Excise and Income Tax or their nominees, Director (Banking) in the Ministry of Finance, the District Collector of Ahmedabad or nominee, the General Manager of the District Industries Centre, Ahmedabad, with the developer's representative as special invitee; substitute for the Development Commissioner may be an officer not below Joint Development Commissioner.
