of <h1>Special Economic Zone for IT and IT Services Approved and Notified in Kokapet Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Information Technology and Communication Department of Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA), proposed the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services at Kokapet Village, Serilingampalli Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. The Central Government, satisfied with the compliance of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, initially approved this SEZ on October 23, 2006. Subsequently, the approval was transferred to HUDA as the developer on April 30, 2007. The designated area at Kokapet Village is now officially notified as a SEZ.
