of <h1>Government Approves 20-Hectare IT Special Economic Zone by Satyam Computer Services at Thotlakonda Hills</h1> M/s. Satyam Computer Services Limited, a private organization in Andhra Pradesh, has proposed to establish a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services at Thotlakonda Hills, Visakhapatnam District. The Central Government, satisfied with the compliance of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, granted approval on June 16, 2006, for the development, operation, and maintenance of this SEZ. Consequently, the government officially notifies the designation of a 20-hectare area at Thotlakonda Hills, specified by Survey number 314/Part, as a Special Economic Zone.
