of <h1>Amendment Excludes Goods with </h1> The Central Government has issued an amendment to the notification No. 16/98-Central Excise (N.T.) dated June 2, 1998, under the Central Excise Act, 1944. This amendment specifies that goods containing not more than 10% betelnut by weight and no tobacco are excluded from having a fixed tariff value. This change is documented in Notification No. 38/99-CE(N.T.) dated June 8, 1999.
