of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for Pharma SEZ at Shendre, Includes Key Government Officials and Private Developer Representative Under SEZ Act 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for a pharmaceuticals Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Shendre Five Star Industrial Area, Aurangabad District, Maharashtra, developed by a private infrastructure company. This committee is constituted under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and includes various ex-officio members such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Commissioners of Customs, Central Excise, and Income-tax, and officials from the Government of Maharashtra. A representative from the developing company is a special invitee.
