of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for MIHAN SEZ in Maharashtra Under SEZ Act 2005, Includes Key Government Representatives.</h1> The Central Government, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, has established an Approval Committee for the multi-product Special Economic Zone at Nagpur (MIHAN), Maharashtra, developed by M/s Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited. The committee is composed of several ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, and representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs or Central Excise, Income-tax, Ministry of Finance, and the Government of Maharashtra. A representative from the developer company is also included as a special invitee.
