of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for SEZ at Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjawadi; Includes Key Government and Industry Representatives</h1> A Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is established at Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjawadi Phase-III, Pune, Maharashtra, developed by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Limited. The Central Government, under the Special Economic Zones Act 2005, has formed an Approval Committee for this SEZ. The committee includes the Development Commissioner as Chairperson, and members from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Ministry of Finance, Maharashtra Industrial Development Authority, and Maharashtra's Joint Secretary (Industry). A representative from the developer is a special invitee.
