This committee is constituted under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. It includes the Development Commissioner as Chairperson and representatives from various governmental departments, such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Finance, and the Government of Punjab. Additionally, a representative from the developing company is included as a special invitee.
