The proposal was submitted by a private organization, M/s. Sanyo Resorts (P) Limited, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. After fulfilling the necessary requirements, a letter of approval was granted on June 25, 2007. The designated area, as specified in the notification, covers various survey numbers totaling 10.692 hectares. This notification formalizes the SEZ under the relevant sections of the SEZ Act and Rules.
