<h1>BPL Mobile Cellular gets Central Government nod for Kerala project under section 10(23G) of Income-tax Act.</h1> M/s BPL Mobile Cellular Limited, formerly BPL US WEST CELLULAR LTD., located at BPL Centre, Coimbatore, has received approval from the Central Government for its Mobile Telephone Service project in Kerala under section 10(23G) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This approval applies to the assessment years 2002-2003, 2003-2004, and 2004-2005. The approval is contingent upon compliance with section 10(23G) and rule 2E of the Income-tax Rules, 1962. The Central Government may withdraw this approval if the enterprise ceases infrastructure operations, fails to maintain and audit accounts, or does not furnish the required audit report.
