<h1>Government Approves IT Special Economic Zone in Kolkata Under SEZ Act, 2005; Developer Name Changed to DLF Limited</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services at Plot No. II-F/1, Block-II-F, Action Area-II, New Kolkata Township, Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal. This SEZ, proposed by a company, has met all necessary requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The approval, initially granted on June 16, 2006, includes a name change for the developer to 'DLF Limited' as of May 29, 2008. The notified land measures 10.4813 hectares.
