Deemed Inland Container Depot designation for SEZ under SEZ Act changes its Customs Act status from the appointed date. The Central Government, under the Special Economic Zones Act, appointed a date on which the Special Economic Zone at 15, Shivaji Marg developed by M/s Shivaji marg Properties Limited in the information technology/information technology enabled services sector shall be deemed to be an Inland Container Depot for the purposes of the Customs Act, thereby changing the SEZ's regulatory status to that of an Inland Container Depot under customs law.
