This appointment is for adjudicating matters related to a show cause notice issued to M/s. Valecha Engineering Limited and others. The notice, dated July 20, 2007, was issued by the Additional Director General, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Mumbai Zonal Unit. The Commissioner will exercise powers and duties originally conferred on the Commissioner of Customs (Import) at Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Maharashtra.
