of <h1>Government Approves Textile Sector SEZ in Erode, Tamil Nadu by ETL Infrastructure Services Under SEZ Act 2005.</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for the textile sector in Vadamugam Kangeyampalayam Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District, Tamil Nadu. The proposal was submitted by a private organization, M/s. ETL Infrastructure Services Limited, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The government granted a letter of approval on May 31, 2006, and the area, comprising various survey numbers, is officially notified as an SEZ. The total area designated for this SEZ is 103.64.57 hectares.
