Approval Committee Formed for IT Services SEZ in Gujarat under SEZ Act 2005 to Oversee Development and Operations

The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the IT/IT-enabled services Special Economic Zone at Village Chharodi, Taluka Dascroi, District Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This committee, formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, includes the Development Commissioner as Chairperson and members from various government departments such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, Finance, and local district administration. Additionally, a representative from the developer, M/s. Ganesh Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., is a special invitee. The committee's purpose is to oversee the operations and development within the designated SEZ area.
